Bulletinboard
Fields:
The following
fields are displayed in the list overview:
- Country name: Shows the country where the list belongs
to.
- Region: Shows the region (e.g. Europe, Asia-Pacific,
North-America) where the list belongs to.
- Topic: Shows the topic (e.g. Inventories, Hazard classification,
Exposure limits) where the list belongs to.
- List name: Shows the list name as specific as possible.
- List publication: Shows the date of the last official
update of the list. If for example in a corrigendum one
entry on the list has been changed, the date of this corrigendum
is shown.
- Release date: Shows the date on which Royal Haskoning
has updated the information on the list.

Tabs:
- The first tab after logging in to CLEO Online is
the ‘Bulletin Board'. This tab shows you a list
overview.
- By selecting "My Lists" you see all the lists
you have subscribed to in the Bulletin Board.
- Selection "All Lists" gives you an overview
of all the lists available in CLEO Online, also the
lists where you not subscribed to.
- The lists where you not subscribed to, are shown in
grey text color.
- All displayed fields are alphabetical sortable.
- By clicking on the field header, the column will automatically

Search
options:
It is possible
to search in the application on three different kinds of
criteria:
- Identifier (e.g. CAS, EC number or molecular formula),
- Substance name or
- List name
Also a combination
of these three criteria is possible, or a search on more
than one criterium of one identifier. Below some search
options are outlined.
If your screen
is too small to overview all the search criteria, it is
possible to collapse the separate search criteria. If you
click on the two arrows, the part you are in will collapse.
Clicking on these arrows again, the section will increase.
It is possible
to search on more than one criteria, e.g. on a CAS number
and an EC number. The first step for this is selecting CAS
as identifier, select you criterium (e.g. contains) and
enter the number your searching for. After this you click
on the plus sign. An extra row appears in the section ‘identifier’.
Here you can enter your second criteria, e.g. an EC number.
Search
on indentifier:
- Select your type of identifier: CAS, CAS (included
alternate CAS), EC number or molecular formula.
- Select your criterium: equals, starts with, ends with,
contains, less than or greater than.
- Type in the last box the text where you are looking
for.
- Click on the button “Search now”.
Search
on molecular formule:
To search on molecular formula you have to enter this as
the Hill notation. This is a standard way of writing the
formula for any chemical compound. This notation is build
up in three sections:
First, Count All Carbon atoms.
Second, Count all Hydrogen atoms
Third, determine all other elements in the compound. Count
each and record in alphabetical order.
Separate all the
different element with dashes.
For example: H3C(CH2)8CH2NH2
First, Count All Carbon Atoms and record. C10
Second, Count all Hydrogen atoms and record: C10H23
Third, determine all other elements in compound. Count each
and record in alphabetical order. C10-H23-N
When determining counts from a structural drawing, CAREFULLY
count H atoms!!
In CLEO Online you have to enter this as 'C10-H23-N' (this
is not case sensitive).
